for teenagers 13-17: Our Coordinator is Gretchen
We are making a new class offering this year to Post Confirmation students in an effort to show that full integration into the Church does not end with “initiation” at Confirmation. We want to move away from the idea that Confirmation is something you/ your child “has to do” and will be emphasizing the liberating effect of both class discussions (with guest speakers) and community service. We hope you will support us in this and, in due course, encourage you/ your child to take an interest in Church life after Confirmation.
We have an exciting programme across 25 weekends: There will in addition a number of Saturday events broadly social in nature, which will be advised by our Post Confirmation co-ordinator Gretchen in due course.
We have identified across all nine levels of CCD the need to give more attention to the structure and purpose of Mass. We ask you to help us with this, firstly through family Mass attendance and secondly by encouraging you/ your child to attend the special CCD Masses as shown in our calendar:
